A 'How to Follow Arab Revolutions' Package

Social media are fast, fun, interactive, and simply awesome. But there's one problem. It's not exactly easy to explore them. It's actually pretty difficult to find the relevant video, the important tweet about some current affairs. Let's say you've heard somewhere how good source to follow the Arab (and other) revolutions Twitter is. So you set up an account, log in, and... well what to do next? You are left with two poor options. 1. Find profiles for high-profile media such as CNN, Guardian, BBC - which kind of refutes the purpose you came to Twitter in the first place. 2. Use the Twitter Search and try to find the relevant and trustworthy profiles randomly. Discovery of good bloggers and youtubers is no easier. That's why the social media still function mainly as a source for the traditional newspapers which conduct the exploration, evaluation and filtering for you. Unless they find themselves in the same hopeless position like most of the Czech media [cz]. :-)
